Seeing all the AOD chatter has me curious but my own trend line is just staying chill...

I’m 14 weeks into this GLP-1 chapter, down 18 lbs, and my waist is finally 2 inches smaller. I weigh every morning after the bathroom and before coffee, then mostly ignore the daily number and watch my 7-day trend.

This week I had a salty dinner and popped up 2.4 lbs overnight; the trend only nudged 0.2, so I’m practicing my usual “it’s noise” speech.

I keep seeing AOD-9604 mentioned in random threads, and I’m genuinely confused about whether it’s something people are actually using alongside GLP-1s or just flavor-of-the-month chatter. I’m not changing anything, just curious from a data/trend perspective.

Has anyone else noticed it coming up more lately? And if you’ve followed it, did it seem like signal or just another blip in the community noise?

That 2.4 lb bump is almost certainly sodium/water, not fat—fat doesn’t move that fast. The 0.2 trend nudge is the signal.

One thing I’d add: measure waist monthly, same tape tension, at navel or iliac crest, fasted, after exhale. Much less noisy than the scale.

Are you using a strict 7-day moving average, or something longer?

I find 14-day smooths out salty-dinner and cycle swings better for me.
