Keeping a tiny Sunday log for the unmeasurable stuff

I’m 19 days into this GLP-1 chapter, and I’m trying to stop letting one data point write the whole week’s story. So I made a Sunday note with three lines: protein with breakfast, a 15-minute walk, and lights out before 11.

This week I got protein in five mornings, walked four afternoons, and had two nights where I actually went to bed on time. The after-dinner kitchen wandering was quieter, which I did not expect.

Wednesday was rough because I skipped lunch prep and grazed while making dinner, so I’m not pretending it was perfect. For folks further along: what’s one non-scale habit you wish you’d tracked earlier?

And other newer people, what tiny thing went right for you this week?

Fellow road warrior here. My version of your Sunday three is: “protein before first flight,” “one terminal lap per layover,” and “screens off by 10:30 hotel time.” The terminal lap thing is weirdly fun — I count gate numbers like a dork, and 20 gates usually gets me to 15 minutes.

Hotel breakfast is Greek yogurt plus hard-boiled eggs if the buffet has them, or a tuna pouch from my bag on 5 a.m. departure days. Two on-time bedtimes out of seven sounds pretty solid when you’re changing time zones.

Question: do you count a 15-minute walk if it’s just laps around a rainy hotel parking lot? Because I absolutely do.

This is a solid little log—behavior lines beat scale noise. One gentle correction: actually I think it is more like consistent wake time is the sleep anchor, not the exact 11pm lights-out, so I’d log “up within 20 min of usual” and count that.

I also track walks as yes/no rather than minutes; 15 min after dinner is my default, but a 7-min loop still checks the box. With lifting 4x/week, that plus protein at first meal is my recomp non-negotiables.

Are you judging the week by total boxes or by which line is most brittle? I’d look at the two bedtime nights first—that’s usually where my week leaks.
