TRIUMPH-2 slides landed and I read them twice

Three years here and I still get more out of the trial decks than the comment threads under them. Someone dropped the TRIUMPH-2 part one material last night, and I went through it twice with tea instead of doomscrolling.

What struck me is how mundane it is, in a good way. Titration tables, discontinuation rates, the demographic grid that never quite looks like who actually posts here.

I've kept a plain note file since January 2022 — date, week number, how the week felt — and holding that up against sixty-some pages of pooled data is humbling. My n=1 is a grain of rice.

Not a victory lap, though. There's a few cuts I'd want broken out by starting BMI, and part two is usually where the comparisons people actually argue about live. If history is any guide, one headline number gets quoted out of context by Thursday and we spend a week untangling it.

Mostly curious if anyone else reads these for fun or if I'm the odd one treating them like a Sunday crossword. What section do you jump to first?

ngl the mundane stuff is exactly what i screenshot. one thing i did after reading a similar deck: tracked my soda swaps + sleep + steps in a notes app for 3 weeks, and my "hungry" evenings were almost always nights i gamed past 1am with no water. not a trial endpoint, but it

The mundane charts are weirdly soothing, right? I did the same tea-and-slides thing and ended up making a Notes app row for every cheap protein I can smuggle out of the dining hall — Greek yogurt, boiled eggs, tuna packets, the sad but reliable chickpeas.

My tracking is basically cost per gram vs how bloated I feel, and the only clear signal is that eating a real breakfast beats inhaling a granola bar at 2pm. Sharp follow-up: did the discontinuation numbers break out people who were also dealing with dorm food, or is that just my own personal adverse-event table?

Because the caf’s Wednesday mystery stir-fry deserves its own footnote.

The demographic grid got me because my life is basically a demographic of one: 5am terminal coffee, hotel treadmill, sad desk salad. I started a Notes tab called “TRIUMPH-2 for One” where I log three boring things per travel day—protein at breakfast, 10-minute gate walk, whether I actually drank water instead of just carrying the bottle.

The slides made me weirdly proud of my own mundane rows. Sharp question: does anyone else have a default airport/hotel meal that’s become their whole personality, and do you track it or just let it ride?

The part that got me was the follow-up timing — like, did people who stayed on it have a different Tuesday-night routine, or is that just survivorship bias? I’ve got two kids and dinner is a hostage situation, so I started keeping a snack drawer with pre-portioned stuff at eye level and a tiny tally on the whiteboard: “actual hunger” vs “chaos nibble.” It’
