Weigh-in starts with a 1

For what it's worth, i’ve been doing the same unglamorous stuff since January: protein at breakfast, a 20-minute walk after lunch, and fruit before the pantry gets a vote. This morning the scale showed a 1 at the front, and I sat on the bathroom floor and laughed. It’s not a finish line.

It just feels like the number caught up with the habits I’ve been repeating when nobody was watching. I want to mark it without making it my whole personality, so I’m planning a slow coffee and a text to my accountability buddy.

What small habit are you protecting this week, even if the scale is being weird? And how do you celebrate a milestone without letting the next one take over the mood?

Congrats! The bathroom floor laugh is a whole mood.

I’m in a dorm, so my cheap-protein rotation is tuna packets, cottage cheese from the dining hall, and peanut butter powder stirred into yogurt. I also started tracking a non-scale win: whether I can haul laundry up three flights without sounding like a dying accordion.

Did you notice anything like that before the scale cooperated? And what’s your breakfast protein?

I need ideas that don’t require a real kitchen.
