Extension: good product, rough two-week wait

A friend asked me about Extension (extension.health), so I’m poking around while comparing suppliers. Their listed catalog and COAs are online, but I still want the exact current catalog: item names, forms, sizes, purity specs, stock status, and whether the site’s actually kept updated.

For COAs, are they per batch or lot, who’s the third-party lab, what methods, testing date, and does the COA batch number match what ships? Where do they ship from, which carriers/transit times, packaging, and any temp, light, or hazmat issues?

Is listed pricing final, or do taxes, shipping, payment fees, or minimums hit? Are bulk/research quantities quoted separately? And where are they legally based and registered? If anyone’s ordered recently, chime in.

One thing I’d check: whether the COA lot # actually matches the lot printed on the product page at checkout. I got burned once by a clean COA for a different batch. Also see if the catalog has a “last updated” date; some sites leave old stock pages up forever.

If you’re already maintaining, it’s less about the first order and more about whether reorders land on the same batch. Does Extension show batch-specific inventory, or just a generic “in stock”?

i’d ask whether the catalog page has a visible “last updated” date and if sold-out sizes vanish or just show “notify me.” That’s how I judge if a site’s actually maintained vs pretty PDFs. Also, for the two-week wait: ask if that’s processing or shipping.

I can handle a delay, but I need to know when to reorder so I’m not stuck with a sad snack drawer and two hangry kids. Did anyone get a real ETA vs the generic banner?
