New here week one, any peptides help with inflammation?

Hi everyone, I’m brand new here and only on week one of my GLP-1, so please excuse the nervous question. I’m 42, starting around 238 lbs, and down about 1.5 lbs so far.

The appetite noise is already quieter, which is wild. But my hands and knees still feel puffy and achy most mornings, especially after sitting at my desk for 8 hours.

I’ve been trying to drink 70 oz of water and walk 15 minutes after dinner. I keep seeing peptides talked about for inflammation, but I don’t know where to start reading.

Not asking for dosing or anything medical — just curious if anyone noticed less joint puffiness with a certain peptide, or if it was mostly time and the GLP-1 doing its thing. Thanks so much, and sorry again if this is repetitive.

Welcome. Not a peptide person, but I’ve been where you are with the morning puff. The two things I actually track are sodium and steps — desk days I’m lucky to hit 4k unless I force a 10-min walk every couple hours.

Also, week one appetite drop can sneak you into low protein and low overall intake, which for me shows up as water retention and achy joints. Are these aches brand new since starting, or were they already there at 238? That answer changes what I’d track.

I lift 4x/week and recomp is slow, but my knees feel better when I keep protein high and sleep consistent. No magic peptide needed for me so far.

fellow lose-regain-lose person here. One thing I wish I’d tracked in week one was morning ring tightness plus how salty my food was the day before.

Mine was way worse after takeout nights, not from the med itself. I started setting a timer for a 2-min stand/walk every hour and noted it with my water intake.

The puff didn’t vanish, but I could see patterns instead of just feeling blah. Does yours ease once you’ve been up and moving, or is it still puffy by lunch?

not a peptide person either, but welcome to week one gang. one thing that genuinely moved the needle for me: i logged sodium in a phone note for a week, and the days my hands felt like sausages lined up perfectly with late-night gaming sessions involving chips and a soda.

swapped to seltzer with lime and it chilled out a lot. weirdly, getting up once an hour (watch timer) did more for my knees than anything else.

question though — do yours loosen up after 20 min of moving around, or stay stiff most of the day? that split seems to matter.
