I'm on my second real attempt at this and the thing that keeps tripping me up isn't hunger, it's paperwork. First round I went from 214 down to 166 over about 14 months and felt unstoppable. Then a rough winter, a new job, and 31 lbs crept back on.
I restarted six weeks ago, same weekly routine as before, and I'm down 9 lbs and honestly pretty proud of that. But I've also built four different trackers in that time. A notes app list, a paper notebook, a spreadsheet I made at 1am, and a folder of screenshots on my phone.
Every time someone shares their big organized system I copy it, use it for three days, then quit because it doesn't quite match how I actually eat. I don't think I need another system.
I think I need one ugly boring one I'll still be using in March. Curious what single habit or tracker you've actually stuck with for months, and what made that one stick when the others didn't?
