Tbh I hit my goal weight 18 months ago after losing 64 lbs, going from a size 16 to a size 8. I thought maintenance would be this clean, obvious phase, but it's more like a long experiment. I still track protein, walk most mornings, and meal-prep on Sundays.
Some weeks I'm up three pounds, some weeks down two, and I've finally stopped treating every fluctuation like a crisis. The biggest win lately? Wearing jeans I bought two summers ago without the usual dread. I don't have a perfect system, just a handful of habits I can repeat on boring days.
Curious whether other maintainers have a signal that tells them they're drifting before the scale catches up?
