I left the denial letter open in my tabs until my doc resubmitted

i'm mostly a 1am ranked queue person, so i did the boring coverage stuff between matches: denial letter in one tab, formulary pdf in another, pharmacy portal in a third. original no came in september. messaged my doc, they said try again at the next visit, and that visit landed oct 1. didn't expect much.

then this morning the portal had a new message — the resubmission went through and it's back on the list for me. not celebrating with a giant soda, but i did crack a cherry seltzer and delete the appeal reminder from my phone.

still kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop, bc coverage stuff has whiplash. anyone else had a resubmission actually stick for more than a refill or two?

ugh, tab limbo is real. Did they actually send fresh chart notes/updated history this time, or just resubmit the same packet?

That was the difference for a friend — first one bounced, second included the doc’s visit notes and finally moved. I keep a sticky note on the fridge with the resubmit date and check the portal after the kids are down, plus screenshot the confirmation so I don’t refresh it 47 times during snack chaos.

Fingers crossed yours moves fast.

Nice. The tab-hopping workflow is real.

The thing I’d log next is the exact portal status wording and timestamp — mine went “received” → “under review” → “decision pending,” and each one had a different turnaround, so screenshots helped when I called. Also worth noting whether the new message came from the doc’s office or the plan itself; those seem to hit different queues.

Did it include a case/reference number, or just a generic “we got it” note?
