Not sure if this helps anyone, Since my youngest moved out in March, I've been rebuilding my days around things I actually like — a 30-minute walk after breakfast, real cooking instead of reheated leftovers, water bottle parked on the counter instead of in the car. Mostly it's been lovely. What I didn't expect was my bathroom rhythm going sideways, and now I'm weirdly fixated on it.
I used to go like clockwork every morning, same time, no drama.
Lately it's more like every third day, and by day three I'm mentally replaying every meal and wondering whether I should be patient or concerned. I added a pear most afternoons, more beans, kept up the walks, and things eased up a little.
But I honestly can't tell where "this is just my new normal" ends and "maybe mention it at my next appointment" begins. For those of you further along in this journey, how often do you go now, and did the shift come with the new habits or on its own?
