I'm brand new here and in week one, curious about focus and calm peptides

For what it's worth, hi everyone, I’m brad new and only on day 5 of my first GLP-1 prescription. I’ve been reading old threads instead of posting because I don’t want to ask something dumb.

I keep seeing Semax and Selank mentioned in the same breath as focus or calm, and I honestly can’t tell if that’s just internet shorthand or an actual felt difference. I’m not planning to add anything right now—I’m 212 lbs, my main goal this week is water and protein—but I’m curious what people mean in plain language.

Is one more wired and the other more settled? Or is that too individual to compare?

Sorry if this is a silly week-one question.

Welcome. Day 5 is basically noise. I track mood/focus 1–10 twice daily, plus sleep, caffeine, protein, and a 14-day rolling average.

My early trendline was ugly: focus dipped while appetite noise dropped, then recovered once I was eating enough. So I’d separate “calm because food chatter is quieter” from any peptide effect. Those names get conflated online a lot.

Sharp question: do you have a pre-start baseline for focus/calm, even just a few days? If not, you’re comparing vibes to vibes. For me, no baseline = no verdict.
