Do I even need to explore peptides while this is working?

I’m 24 weeks into a GLP-1, tracking weekly averages, and down 33.2 pounds as of Sunday. My appette is quiet, evening snacking has mostly faded, and I walk 7,000 steps on five days.

Sleep is the one area that still feels uneven, often five or six interrupted hours. Sermorelin keeps coming up in conversations, and I understand it is often discussed for sleep and recovery, but I do not want to complicate a routine that is steady now.

Has anyone talked with their clinician about whether a sleep-focused peptide is worth considering alongside a GLP-1, or did you find that improving sleep basics first was enough? I’m not looking for dosing, just perspective.

Tbh nice work on the 33.2 — that’s a solid trend. If sleep is the remaining lever, I’d track sleep midpoint and wake-time consistency for a couple weeks, not just total hours.

In the trials, GH secretagogues sometimes affect sleep architecture, but effect sizes are usually modest and not guaranteed, so I wouldn’t add anything while appetite and weekly averages are still moving. Concrete Q: on your 7k-step days, is your sleep better or worse?

If those days also mean later bedtime, more caffeine, or a hotter room, that could be the confounder. I’d run that before exploring peptides.

One thing I’d check before adding anything: is your sleep actually bad, or is your tracker just judging you? Mine logged five hours for months, then I realized it missed my first hour because I was reading in bed.

A cheap room thermometer and charging my phone in the kitchen helped me more than any peptide rabbit hole. Also, does your insurance offer a sleep program?

Our local pharmacy mentioned some plans cover a nurse line or coach, which was news to me. Are your rough nights random, or do they cluster around shot day?

Nice trend. One thing I’d separate before peptides: are the interruptions at the same clock time, and are they bathroom wakes vs. thought-loops?

I started logging sleep latency and wake-after-sleep-onset separately, plus last caffeine/water/alcohol, and it showed my “bad sleep” was mostly 2–3am bathroom trips from evening fluids, not true insomnia. If yours cluster around a fixed hour, a two-week diary with those columns might tell you more than another supplement.

Do you notice worse sleep on a particular day relative to your weekly medication day?
