My peptide notes keep collapsing into sleep and protein

I ran a six-week audit on the peptide chatter I actually acted on, because curiosity needed a cost column. One tab: sleep, appetite, training, mood, weight trend. Forty-two rows later, the only inputs that moved together were 7+ hours of sleep and 120g protein. The rest was expensive weather.

Not saying nothing works; saying my default is to confuse novelty with signal. I’ll keep logging because it’s cheaper than guessing. Has anyone else found their peptide variables get outvoted by boring basics?

Love this audit. The 42 rows are the real flex. One thing I’d split out: sleep quality vs just 7+ hours. When I added a 1–10 “wake-ups” column, my 7.5-hour nights with two wakeups tracked way worse for appetite than 6.5 solid hours.

Also curious whether your 120g protein was evenly spread or backloaded? I noticed if I got 30g at breakfast and 30g by lunch, my evening grazing dropped without me white-knuckling it.

Might be the next variable to test: protein timing + sleep continuity. What did your mood rows do on the 7+/120 days?

Oof, “expensive weather” is going in my notes. The extra column that helped me was time from last bite to lights out — if I ate within ~2 hours of bed, my sleep sucked and next-day hunger was louder even with protein.

The 7+ hours and 120g still carried the week, but timing explained most of my weird outliers. I also tracked “protein before 2pm” vs backloaded, and front-loading made the 120g way less of a nightly scramble.

What does your 120g look like on days your appetite is flat? That’s where mine falls apart.
