Been dispatching 911 calls for eleven years, almost all of it on the overnight, 11 to 7. Covid got me two years back and the fog rolled in and just stayed.
Around 3am I'll blank on a unit number I read ten seconds earlier. Multitasking used to be the one thing I was actually good at.
Now my left hand looks like a notepad. Eight months on a GLP-1 as well, 42 lbs off, sleeping noticeably better, head no clearer.
Peptides keep coming up on here for the long covid brain stuff. I'm about as hype-averse as it gets.
Not asking anyone to tell me what to take, not looking for a cure.
I just want to hear from people with the same problem - did anything honestly move the needle on word recall, or on holding focus for more than a few minutes? Or is it an expensive way to feel like you're doing something? Thanks.
