The composition phase feels quieter than the loss phase

For what it's worth, three years into this community, I've stopped treating every phase like it needs a new protocol. After the loss phase, my body composition work has been mostly the same groceries, two full-body lifts a week, and a walking pad during calls.

Current shelf: creatine, fiber, magnesium at night, and whatever protein is on sale. No magic. The scale has been within 1.5 lb since April, but my waist is down about an inch and my pull-up reps went from 3 to 7.

That's the part I care about now. The one thing that changed: I stopped changing things every time a thread hyped a new add-on.

Curious how others define a successful composition phase when the scale is basically flat.

Small-town pharmacy/insurance angle: I finally stopped letting the insurance portal run my mood. For composition, the one thing that helped was a monthly “same conditions” check: waist at the belly button, one progress photo by the back door, and how my chore jeans fit. Scale stays in the closet.

I also added a 10-minute kettlebell swing finisher after my two lifts—nothing heroic, just enough to feel like I’m doing something during the quiet phase. Are you adding weight or reps to those full-body days, or mostly holding steady and letting the groceries do the work?
