I got approved yesterday and did the spreadsheet thing immediately: weekly weigh-ins, waist at navel, protein grams, water, and a 7-day rolling average. My last real attempt was 14 weeks of tracking in 2023; I lost 11 lbs, then stalled for 5 weeks because I let daily fluctuations wreck my mood.
The trendline was still flat-to-down the whole time.
I wish I’d trusted that earlier, and taken front/side photos at day one instead of week six. The weird early win for me was sleep: I stopped waking at 2 a.m.
around week three, before the scale did anything dramatic. Mildly contrarian: I’m not doing a huge pantry purge this time.
It just made me feel deprived before. For those further along, what changed first for you: clothes, energy, sleep, or something stranger? I’m building my baseline now.
