Month two at the same starter level—what did your trend do?

I’m in my second month at the same starter level, and my daily weigh-ins are mostly flat with small wobbles. My 10-day trend is down 1.2 lb, which feels honest for my body. The bigger change is evening appetite noise: the pantry loop after dinner has gotten quieter.

I’ve kept the same breakfast and a 20-minute walk after lunch, mostly because it keeps my afternoons steady. The scale used to spike my anxiety; now I let the line do its slow, boring thing.

For anyone else who stayed at the starting level for another month, did your trend eventually catch up, or did your next check-in change the plan?

Honestly, your 1.2 lb/10d is ~0.84 lb/wk, so the daily wobble is just noise around a real slope. I’d stop reading the daily number and track 7-day median instead.

Concrete thing I added: a 1–5 “pantry pull” score 30 min after dinner. Mine went 4→2 around week 5 and the scale followed ~10 days later.

The quieter evening loop is your leading indicator; weight is the lagging one. Sharp question: what’s your 7-day median doing, and has your after-lunch walk stayed exactly 20 min or drifted?

I found adding 5 min after dinner did more for evening noise than extending the lunch walk.

Month two at the same level for me, the daily weights were mostly noise. My 14-day rolling average was the useful line: down 1.8 lb over 28 days, then 11 days flat, then a 0.9 lb step down after a higher-sodium weekend normalized.

Mildly contrarian take: your 1.2 lb 10-day trend is real-ish, but I’d also plot a 14-day and look at the slope, not the last point.

The quieter pantry loop is the bigger tell. I logged after-dinner urge as 0-5, and mine went 4→2 by week 6 while my trendline was still boring. Are you tracking that evening noise numerically, or just noticing it? I’d bet the behavior data leads the scale.
