My spreadsheet added a column for unplanned Saturdays

I built my tracking sheet around side effects, protein, and a 7-day weight trend. Somewhere around day 60 I added a fourth tab. It logs unplanned things: dinner with friends, a long walk with no podcast, saying yes to a Saturday plan without running an energy budget first.

The scale line is down 14.2 lb since the first entry, and my trendline is almost embarrassingly straight. But that tab shows 9 spontaneous yeses this month versus 1 in February. Tirz didn’t hand me a new personality, and I’m not ready to call it getting my life back, because that phrase feels too tidy.

What I can measure is that I’m not treating every invite like a math problem with a hidden cost. Anyone else tracking a non-scale column that made the shift visible?

I’d split that fourth tab into two fields: event type and next-day signal. “Unplanned” alone is too binary; a friend dinner and a no-podcast walk aren’t the same exposure.

Log energy, hunger, and adherence the next day, then compare the 3-day weight trend after those entries. If the trendline holds, they’re just data, not deviations.

Is your line still trending down, or flattening specifically in the 5–7 days after those unplanned Saturdays?
