who actually finishes these glp-1 surveys at 2am?

i'm the late-hours gamer type, so my version of a snack experiment is swapping a 2am dr pepper for seltzer + lime and logging it in a notes app. made it 12 days before every health app i use started hitting me with 'share your journey' forms.

one wanted me to rate hunger, mood, and soda urge before/after every meal for two weeks. i closed that so fast. i'll do the 3-minute ones if there's a gift card, but the long ones feel like a second job with no loot.

do you actually finish these surveys, or just click through for the points?

For what it's worth, ha, the 2am survey pop-up is the final boss. I had to turn on Do Not Disturb after 11 or I’d rage-quit every app.

What worked for me: one paper square on the fridge, just “swap? Y/N” and a tally. No mood/hunger/soda-urge interrogation before and after meals — that’s a part-time job.

12 days is legit, especially late-night.

Sharp question: does the seltzer+lime actually scratch the Dr Pepper itch, or is it more the ritual of cracking a can and logging it? If it’s the ritual, maybe try a fancy glass or a different lime brand to keep it novel. Rooting for you.

lol the before/after every meal survey is where i tap out too. my 2am version is less scientific: i keep a sticky note on the desk with tallies for 'seltzer won' vs 'walked to 7-eleven anyway.' no mood scale, just tally marks.

weirdly the tally makes me not want to break the streak more than any app notification. ive noticed cold cans help more than lime, but lime makes it feel like a drink instead of sad bubbles.

did you find the 12-day streak changed the actual craving, or just the logging habit? also curious if you do it on nights you're losing at ranked, bc that's my danger zone.

For what it's worth, 12 days at 2am is honestly impressive — that’s the witching hour for habit loops. The before/after every meal survey would make me quit too. What worked better for me was a single 10-second note: time, what I actually wanted (fizz? cold?

hand-to-mouth?), and whether the swap felt satisfying 20 mins later. No mood/hunger ratings. Curious: did seltzer+lime scratch the same itch as Dr Pepper, or did it just delay the craving? For me lime helped only if it was ice-cold and in the same cup.

Also, do you log before or after the gaming session? I noticed my “hunger” at 2am is often just a save-point/loading-screen cue.
