Posted this in a comment but figured it deserved its own thread. I'm 10 months in, down 61.4 lbs. I log my weight daily and track a 7-day rolling average, because the day-to-day noise was making me crazy.
Here's the weird part: according to my calories-in vs. my watch's estimate of calories-out, I should have lost closer to 78 lbs by now. My trendline is flat-out refusing to match the math. I've hit two 6-week stalls where the scale didn't budge a single pound, then dropped 4 lbs practically overnight.
I'm not complaining — I'm in a size I haven't worn since college — but I'm mildly annoyed that the data doesn't behave. Anyone else tracking this closely and seeing a consistent gap between predicted and actual loss?
I'm starting to think my smartwatch is just making up numbers to flatter me.
