I've been here since the old megathread days, mostly lurking, so this feels like a weird thing to post. But I pulled a pair of jeans out of the back of the closet this week — bought them in 2022, never wore them once because the button was a lost cause — and they closed without a fight.
Down 61 lbs overall, though the last 20 took way longer than the first 40. What actually moved the needle wasn't dramatic. I started walking 25 minutes after dinner instead of sitting down with my phone, and I stopped buying chips at all because "just one bowl" has never once been true for me.
Weekends are still my weak spot, and I had a nine-week stall last spring that made me want to throw the scale off the balcony. It passed. It's not linear, and I wish someone had told me that in month two. Anyone else have a habit they picked up almost by accident that ended up mattering more than the big changes?
