i’m 14 weeks in, down 18.6 lbs, and I keep a Google Sheet with daily weigh-ins, weekly waist measurements, and a column for “weigh-in spot.” Mildly embarrassing finding: my bathroom scale on the tile reads 0.8–1.4 lbs heavier than the same scale on the hallway hardwood. I thought I was plateauing for 9 days; turns out I’d just been standing in the wrong place.
Moved it back, and my 7-day rolling average dropped 1.1 lbs overnight without any habit change. Also moved the snack bin from the counter to the garage shelf, and my after-dinner grazing went from 5 nights/week to 1.
Location is doing more work in my spreadsheet than motivation is. Anyone else log environmental variables?
Or am I just one bad tile pattern away from overfitting my own life?
